I live in the heartland of the USA. The buckle of the Bible Belt. Many pontificating televangelists call it home. 

I embrace the One Divine of Many Faces and know it is everywhere, in all things.  What was that Bible phrase?  Omniscient, omnipresent, omni . . omni . . omni? You get the point. 

My home looks out over our beautiful, large, winding river, straight at our downtown skyline.  I have a 3 foot in diameter, round (is that redundant?) window at the top of my office gable.  July can be most offensive here, so yes, I needed a window covering for even that.  

I have a beautiful tapestry of Lord Krishna in his pose of Divine Blessing.  It has faithfully shielded my office from the sun for many summers.  My home also has a walking trail right below it - it runs adjacent to the river and it is well loved and utilized.  

One late afternoon, I was sitting on my patio with my daughter and a very friendly woman called out to us, pointing at my round window.  There sits Lord Krishna, ever faithfully extending his blessing to the river, the city and all who might notice him.  She declared: "I have been walking by here for years and I just love your Jesus of the Sacred Heart!  How wonderful that you put him up there to bless the city and all of us! God Bless You!" We smiled and waved: "Thank you! You're Welcome!"

I mean really, what is the point?  No Ma'am?  That is Lord Krishna, get it right? People see what they are able to see.  If she looks at Krishna and sees Jesus, I'm good with that.

The Present of Ascension

Giving myself fully to every task, every moment, every exchange is a new discipline I have taken on. Fully living in the present. This has expanded my experience of the Trust Frequency and allowed for spontaneous miracles and gifts. 

I had pretty much mastered this element in my work and relationships with people I care about. This last week I have raised the bar to have that extend to every email, every person cutting me off in traffic, etc. The shift is tangible. 

I am reminded from A Course In Miracles, that each moment is an opportunity for a miracle and ascension; and it only takes a tiny movement up for a miracle/ascension to exist - meaning; taking a small chewable bite in raising my vibration is just as valuable as an 'ah-ha' or dramatically transcendent moment. Our job it simply to do the very best we can as we rise.  Just look for the silver lining, or the bright side-just a little bit. We need not push ourselves/force anything.

What is it about July 5 that feels like New Year's Day?  Maybe it's just that I feel hungover from enduring bombastic blasts the night before . . . fireworks and a bit too much wine.

Actually, this early morning just feels brand new . . . a fresh start . . . New Year's without the frigid temperatures.  When inspiration and motivation show up, who am I to look a gift horse?

Thus begins my blog. The Gail Rose. Yes, She Did.  I always liked that they say the shortest sentence in the Bible is 'Jesus wept.' Well, here is my version.  

Gail Rose. Yes, she did. She rose through a lot of stuff.  And continues to rise.
